Welcome to Our Class!

Welcome to Photography and Drawing at DCHS! My name is Ms. Melissa Melton. This is my 10th year with DeSoto County Schools and my 2nd here at DCHS. I previously worked at Pleasant Hill Elementary for 5 years and at Hernando Middle for 3 years. Look at my Schoology page any time you are absent or missing something. I am passionate about the arts and look forward to having you in our class and sharing this creative learning experience with you.

 

 

 

 

 

About the Teacher

I earned my BA from the University of Southern Mississippi and a MA from the University of Memphis.

I have one daughter who is in the Honors College at the University of Southern Mississippi and currently in her sophomore year. We have 2 spoiled rotten Golden Retrievers. I love music, sewing, cooking, and reading when I'm not teaching.
