Bio

I love teaching!  I began my career in education 15 years ago as an elementary Montessori teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. I taught a mixed-age class of 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in an inclusion setting for 13 of those years. I moved to Mississippi two years ago, obtained my Mississippi teaching certification, completed my Master's degree in special education, and taught inclusion at Hernando High School for a semester. Last year, I taught English I and Physical Science here at DeSoto Central High School. I love teaching in general but have a passion for working with students with exceptionalities, so I feel blessed to be a 9th grade inclusion teacher this year.
