  • It's a great day to be a Jaguar!

 

 

  • The graduation ceremony for the class of 2019 will be held at the Landers Center on May 21, 2019 at 7:00 pm. 
  • The 2018-2019 DC Roar yearbook is currently on sale.  Yearbooks will be sold for $75.  Deadline to purchase yearbooks is February 8th!  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Please visit www.balfour.com to order your yearbook.
  • All students should have a handbook, and you are responsible for the information in the handbook.   And, you should have it with you during the school day.         
  • The ACT will be administered to all juniors on February 20th during the school day.  This is considered a state test since it is paid by the MS Dept of Education, however the test is college reportable.  No registration outside of school is required for students.  A PreAdministration Session will be held at school during the week for Feb. 11th to complete the required paperwork prior to test day.  All juniors will need to be prepared to arrive before 8:25 and not be able to leave until the end of 3rd block.  For more information, see Ms. Morris in A20.
  • AP students: AP Exam Order forms have now been given out to the AP teachers.  The Exam Order forms and money will be due by March 1st.  See your AP teacher for more information.
  • This Wednesday is the last day to order an FCS Tshirt.  Get your order form and money to Ms. Clayton in C7.
  • There will be an interest meeting for potential candidates and their parents for the 2019-2020 varsity cheer squad on February 19th at 5:45 in the DCHS cafeteria.

  • Dues drive will take place Thursday February 7th through Monday, February 11th.  You may pay Ms. Wooley in room B20 during your lunch or Ms. Chalk in B24/ Nichols A38 between classes.
  • Please be prepared to pay your dues on those dates if yo have not already.  All juniors and seniors must pay dues to attned Prom.
  • The dance team will be having their Nationals show tonight Tuesday, February 19, at 6:00 in the middle school gym.  The cost is free.  Come out and support the dance team!
  • There is an interest meeting for anyone who is interested in traveling to England/ Ireland/ Whales Spring break 2020 or Italy Spring break 2021.
  • Juniors:  Wednesday, you will be able to sign up for classes for the 2018-2019 school year, and you should make sure that you are familiar with the prerequisites for classes tht are listed on page 10 and 11 in your student handbook,  Start planning now for the classes tht you would like to take next school year.
  • Students will recieve Progress Reports Friday in 2nd block.
  • Seniors:  Make sure that you are familiar with the section of your handbook on page 29 about college visits.  All college visits must be pre-approved and you can get the paperwork in the attendance office.  If you go on a college visit without prior approval, it will count against you for exemption purposes.  Make sure you plan ahead.
  • Our Archery team will be at Southaven today and at Southaven Thursday.
  • Our Basketball teams will play at Munford tomorrow night and at home agaist Dyer County on Friday.
  • Our Cheerleaders will be competing at Nationals this weekend.
