Bio
My name is Vanessa W. McCou; I am a native of Northwest Mississippi. I am a Christian wife and a mother of five (teenagers) four of which attend Desoto County School District with our oldest in college. I grew up in and graduated from North Panola High School in Sardis, MS. I received my BA in English from Ole Miss, a Masters in Education from University of Phoenix, and an Ed.S from Liberty University. English has been my favorite subject and passion since my own years in High School. I began teaching in 2007 at my home school, Green Hill Elementary. Since then I have taught in Tate and Shelby County. Coming back to home Mississippi was by far the best decision I could have made. This is my first year at the High School level, and it has been one of the best years of my teaching career. I have been blessed with an awesome group of coworkers and administrators, as well as an amazing group of students to work with this year.
