Location: Shelby Farms Fed-Ex Center – 415 Great View Drive East, Memphis, TN

Time:        8:00 -11:30 pm

The following is the ticket schedule:
Week 1 - February 20 - 23, 2024 -             $50.00 Week 2 - February 26 - March 1, 2024 -     $60.00Week 3 - March 4 – 7, 2024 -                      $70.00 (will not sell on Friday, March 8, 2024, but can purchase on 
RevoPay)


LATE TICKET - $80.00 (last day to pay is 
Wednesday, March 27th - NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER THIS DATE – NO EXCEPTIONS)

 

Students must pay $15.00 junior/senior class dues before purchasing a ticket(s).  If a student has not paid his/her class dues, he/she will not be eligible to attend prom. 

 

How to purchase tickets: 

1) REVOPAY:  All individuals paying through REVOPAY must complete the Google Form located on the school website. Please write down your reference number (long number, not authorization code) and record it on to Google form. (To find the number, check your email, and search “DeSoto County Schools” to locate the confirmation email.)

 

2) CASH or CHECK: Checks should be made out to DCHS and delivered to Mrs. Wooley in room B20 during lunch.  You MUST fill out the Google Form located on the school website. No SELLING or TRANSFERRING of tickets and NO REFUNDS will be given. Students will be expected to attend with their date. Failure to arrive together could delay entry to the event. Dress code for the event is formal.

 

Eligible DCHS juniors and seniors in good standing (no DCAC or excessive absences) can purchase up to 2 tickets.

 

Ineligible Students

* No students who have been suspended, assigned to DCAC, or arrested off campus during the spring semester.

 

DeSoto County Guests – Sign them up in the office.

  • DeSoto County guests must fill out a prom guest application and turn it in with a copy of his/her ID no later than Tuesday, March 5, 2024. 
  • All DCHS students in good standing are eligible to attend as guests of a current DCHS junior or senior.
  • DCHS graduates ages 20 and under may attend as a guest of a current DCHS junior or senior.
  • In-district guests of DCHS juniors or seniors currently enrolled in a DeSoto County School or Northpoint must fill out a prom guest application and turn it in with a copy of his/her ID no later than Tuesday, March 5, 2024. 
  • Guests MUST be residents of Desoto County and MUST currently be enrolled at a Desoto County high school. Once the guest is approved or denied, the student will be notified by admin.

Out-of-District Guests – Sign them up in the office.

  • Out-of-district guests (who are NOT students from DeSoto County Schools or Northpoint) must fill out a prom guest application and turn it in with a copy of his/her ID no later than Tuesday, March 5, 2024. 
  • A parent of the DeSoto Central High School student who wants to bring an out-of-district date must attend the prom as a chaperone.
  • The parent/guardian must be listed in PowerSchool as the student's parent.
  • Once the guest is approved or denied, the student will be notified by admin.

Applications for guests must be accompanied by a copy of
the guest’s photo identification.

Prom Dress Code
-Dresses, tuxedo, or formal pants must be worn appropriately. 
No sagging. No jeans.
-Collared dress shirt with long sleeves, worn with a tie/bow (exception: tux shirt with a decorative button).  Shirts must remain on and tucked in for the duration of the dance.
-Jackets or blazers must be worn.
-Formal dresses cannot be shorter than fingertip length with arms fully extended.
-Dress slits may not be higher than fingertip length with arms fully extended. Please wear appropriate undergarments.  The dance floor may be reflective.
-Bare midriff and plunging necklines are not allowed.  No cut-outs.  Two-piece top/skirt outfits must cover the midriff.
-No see-through material that exposes the midriff, excessive cleavage, or thighs.
-The back of the dress may not be lower than the natural waistline (belly button)
-No bandanas, chains, or canes.
-No baseball caps.
-No grills.

Students who arrive and do not meet the dress code guidelines are subject to being excluded from the event and no refund will be provided.  We want everyone to enjoy a night of sophistication and fun.  Please consider your attire.  When in doubt, ask the administration.
