Hey Everyone! Just a bit about me... I am a mother of two (Phillip 9 yrs. and Walker 4 yrs.) and they are are the light of my life so when I say that your child's education is of the utmost importance to me, I sincerely mean it. Also my husband and I have been married 10 years and we love pouring into our community, our children, and taking each adventure life has for us one step at a time.
Education: I have my Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology and my Masters in Sociology. Before getting into education, I was a probation officer. I am now completing my third year of teaching, which has taught me so much on this incredible journey. I am also a professor (at South College) outside of teaching at the high school level. I say this in that though I already teach online courses, this is a completely different experience going from teaching in a classroom setting to distance learning. So let's all be patient, breath, know these assignments are not to be overwhelming but helpful, and let's take one day at a time.
: I work very hard at developing relationships with my students so that they are not just learning from power points, books, lectures etc. but so that they can be active members of society. Learning can happen in so many shapes and forms, so I hope to teach them life skills as well. Though I am an educator, everyday my students teach me something new. I want to see each and every one of your children succeed in their own way! They mean the world to me!! :
