The DeSoto Central Chapter of the Interact Club is sponsored by the Southaven Rotary Club.

We are a community service club dedicated to serving our school, community, and state.  We meet one Tuesday a month in the PAC.  You may join our club at any time.  We would love to have you as a member.  Club members earn service points to stay active members.

Required Meeting Days 2023/2024

Aug. 8         January- no meeting 

Sep. 5          Feb. 6

Oct. 3          Mar. 5

Nov. 7          Apr. 2

Dec. 5          May 7

Active Member is defined as a student that has paid the $25 dues, attends the meetings, and completes the required number of service points.

Point Requirements:

50 points per year (with at least one point earned each month)

How to earn points:

Interact Club Leaders organize volunteer opportunities for students to earn service points OR students can volunteer on their own time (non-sponsored events) and receive points for their time. Non-sponsored events are worth 1 point for every hour completed. To receive points for non-sponsored events, students will fill out a form located outside of D19. The student must be representing Interact Club in order to earn points.
