My name is Ellen Bickley and I am the school nurse for Desoto Central High School. I am an Olive Branch native and graduated from OBHS in 1982. I received a B.S. in Chemistry from Delta State University in 1986, a B.S. in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento in 1991, and my National School Nurse Certification in 2018. I have been married to my husband, Sid, for almost 33 years. I have a 26 year old son and a 23 year old daughter – both graduated from DCHS.
We are so glad to have your child at our school! Please feel free to contact me with any health concerns regarding your son or daughter. My goal is to be available to you and your student to help them stay healthy so they can give their very best here at DCHS.
If your student has a medical condition, or needs to take medication during the school day, please go to the top of this page and click on the General Info tab. From there, scroll to "Required Health Forms". Clicking on this tab will allow you to choose the care plan related to your child's condition and/or a general medication authorization form. Please have the care plan completed by your student's physician and return it to me as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please call or email me. I will be glad to help you.
