Coaching experience in basketball, volleyball, and softball

I have three children, twin girls that are 14 and a boy that is 9. My wife is an elementary principal at New Albany Elementary. My hobbies include playing guitar, raising horses, and playing golf. I coach softball, teach personal finance and teach accounting. I am an Ole Miss fan and love watching my Rebels. My girls are involved in band, cross country, and tennis. Will plays basketball and baseball.

I was born and raised in Ecru, Mississippi, a small town just south of New Albany. My dad was a hometown doctor there. I'm happy to say that small town values and work ethic have stuck with me throughout my life. I graduated from Tupelo High School, class of 1995. I went to Ole Miss where I received my Bachelors of Business in Economics. After graduation, I worked in pharmaceutical sales with Novartis for a brief period of time. I always wanted to teach, so I decided to go back to school and received my teaching license after completing the Master of Arts in Teaching at Mississippi State. My last academic endeavor was getting my specialist degree from Ole Miss in Educational Leadership. I have taught for 14 years in different roles, but most of my experience is in special education and business education. I love teaching at Desoto Central High! We are very blessed to have such a great group of students, staff, and administrators.
